Summary: Learn about the benefits of casting a bullet specifically to a type of gun in this free how-to video on how to cast bullets, or how to make bullets by melting-down lead.
" Next, let’s cast the bullet. You need to have your mold and your ladle warmed up. What you need to do is take your ladle; you’ll notice the holes on the top of the mold. You take the ladle; put the molten lead into the mold. Take it away from the pot for a moment or two and let it cool. Now, what I’m going to do is put it in a bucket of cold water. Be very careful that you never get one drop of water into the pot. It can cause what is called a steam explosion. That’s why I have this water bucket at least five feet away from this lead pot. What I will do is tap this and open like this. You heard the sizzle as the bullets went into the bucket. That shows that they are frozen quick and hard. Later on, that’s going to make the bullets a lot harder, so they will not be lead in the barrel when I shoot the weapon. "

on 8/2/2008 The Video clips were very helpful since this is the first time I've tried to make my own but the one question that I have is how and what part of the mold do I need to lube for easier release of the bullet
