Summary: Learn how to monitor gauges when scuba diving in this free online video clip.
"I am in the middle of the dive, beginning the dive, and I will be looking through the area where I will be exploring, always keeping in contact with my buddy and always monitoring my gauge to make sure I have enough air and monitoring my depth. Also I’ll be taking a look at my compass to show where I will be going and the typical area where I will be heading. As I finish the dive, I always want to return to the surface or to the boat with at least 500 pounds per square inch within the tank. This will do two things, one it will prevent the tank from beat dry which will allow contaminants in the tank. Also it will give me a safety margin, in case I’m in trouble and I need to use air on the way back to the shore or on the way back to the boat. "
