    Video Transcript

"Greetings! My name is Grand Master John Le Grand otherwise known as the Phoenix Sensei. The name of our system is Lost Legacy Systems, University of Mixed Martial Arts. We are located in Coconut Creek, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, we are going to show you how to become a Mixed Martial Artist. An essential component of Mixed Martial Arts is sparring. You have to have it. It allows the students to have the opportunity for hands on, realistic, trading back and forth, they get their timing right, get their distance right. Go! Sometimes we use pads, sometimes we don’t use pads. It is very important for the kid or the adult to have the feeling of realisticness. They have to be able to know what it feels like to not be wearing pads and they also have to be conditioned to take a hit. You know that it seems what people do is they draw the opponent. They try to get them to attack them. So when they attack, they attack into their attack. It’s called stop hit. Finish that. Jump! "
