"On behalf of Expert Village this is John Anderson. This part of Judo we're going to show you is an Arm lock called ude' Gerami (Arm in Twining). Now, this is can be done very violently, I won't do it violently here it is again. Perry, turn your body and drop, let your body do the work. Now how do you use this as a means of self defense? If someone grabs you by the throat and attempts to hit you in the face? Notice, how Perry dropped. I've got a good strong stance here that is where I am getting the power most people will bend over to do this and do it just by arms. Watch again I am turning his body here and then I drop. Thank you."
