"Hi, I'm Johnny Rambo of New York City and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to teach you how to arm wrestle. Stretching is actually the key to strength training. You can do all the body building, all the work and all the weight lifting, but without stretching to close the exercise, you are not going to develop any strength. This is true among wild animals. Tigers, lions they spend maybe four hours a day stretching before and after meals. Because it is a workout to get a meal for a wild animal. For us, since we don't go hunting in the wild, we don't stretch as much. A simple technique is coming up against a wall, fingers upward, elbow to the side, nice and relaxed, no tension in the arm. Just lean into it; lower your hand and just lean into it as you do that, making sure that the bottom of your palm reaches that part of the wall, touches that part of the wall. Feel the elbow lock, turn your hand. Turn your elbow upward slowly, every so slowly. No jerking motion, everything is in complete, slow motion. This stretches the lower part of the forearm. This strengthens the forearm. Without this stretch you are not strengthening anything. Breathing is also essential and we'll go into that in the next segment."
