"Another thing is proper rope maintenance. You can see this rope here has several knots in it because it was not brought in properly. The proper way to bring in a rope is to bring it in, loop it this way, loop back this way in a figure eight fashion. Most people, when they bring in a rope, they just kind of bring it in however, be it a circle, or wrap it around like this. That's how you get a knot. I've learned from experience that the proper way again is to figure eight. You lay it this way in your hand, make a loop. Lay it that way in your hand, loop back. Again. Just repeat. That allows it when you throw it out, it's become knot free. Now when throwing the rope out, again, you're going to have it in that nice, neat little bunch. Take the handle, two feet behind the handle, swing it and let it go. It should come right out, 75 feet."
