"Hi, I'm PGA member Jay Golden, and on behalf of ATAP and Expert Village, the short game. Putting, so important -- putting. In fact, you even practice at home. In fact, you even putt to your couch leg. In fact, you hit that couch leg almost every time from ten feet. Why is it that you can hit a skinny couch leg from ten feet, but on the golf course, even if you have a perfectly straight put, the hole is so much bigger than that couch leg -- you push it on the course, you pull it on the course, why? Well, maybe you're distracted because you think you need it for a par or a birdie or a good score. How do you improve your putting on the course? Visualize your couch leg. Or, if you're a big star like me, you know I have my whole crew and posse and everything -- they actually bring my couch, and they tend it for me, and take it out when -- then there are those of you that just want to bring the couch leg. Hey could you tend my couch leg? I'm just kidding. But visualize the couch leg to improve your putting. So make believe your dog is over here, you're in your living room, there's the couch leg, hit the couch leg, and you're in your living room, hey Rover, hey, we need a new name for our dog anyhow -- I don't know if Rover's good -- but try to hit the couch leg. Oh, I missed that one, and the dog is all upset. Hit your couch leg. Aim for your couch leg. Visualize your couch leg. I haven't been spending that much time in my living room; that's why I missed those putts. Visualize your couch leg. Make believe you're at home to improve your putting. We'll have more tips right here on Expert Village."
