"This segment is on long drives and here's a swing thought that could help you get more club head speed through the ball which is one of the most important aspects of hitting the ball far. How fast is that club head moving? One mile and hour? A hundred? A hundred twenty? The world long drivers, approximately a hundred forty miles an hour. Tiger Woods, about one eighteen, one twenty. If you could visualize a swing speed machine or in baseball, a radar gun. You know, how they measure the speed of a baseball? Make believe there's a radar gun right near the ball and during your swing, just say to yourself, I want to get this club head going as fast as I could for that radar gun. And that's what I'm going to try right now. I'm not going to think of that before my swing, I'm going to think of it during my swing and I'm actually going to say it as I'm thinking about it. There's the radar gun and this is a contest to see how fast I can get that club going. Pretty good but I think I could do faster. It felt a little off balance which is OK. Fast as I could, radar gun. What that does is give you the most speed right where you want it, not early, not late. If you think of a radar gun, it could get you to swing faster and the faster that club head is moving, the further that ball is going to go."
