" Hi! I am Jason Wyatt, head golf professional at Sunnydale Golf & Country Club and on behalf of Expert Village.com, I am here today to show you how to better putt. What we are going to work on today is our distance control and distance control meaning I can hit a shot anywhere on the putting green and be able to get the ball to move into a circle, that is about two feet around. So what I do to practice my distance control is I do the same things as I do for warming up. I am going to start here; I might hit a few putts, just get the feeling. I do not care if they go in or not. I am just more worried about making sure I get inside that circle where I can tap it in and we can go ahead and make our par. So again we are just warming up and we are just hitting some putts. Don’t worry about if they go in or not but I am just worried about direction and speed, so let us make sure speed is consistent all the time. Once I hit about three or four putts here, what I am going to do is go to a different side. It could be a downhill slope and I am going to put five balls over there and I am going to putt the ball down the hill. Give me an idea if I get out on the putting green on the golf course and hit a shot and it is a downhill putt, I know what to hit. Similar putting up hill; find a spot where you can putt up hill and hit five putts. Again, this gives you a little more knowledge when you are on the putting green on that first green. "
