on 12/22/2008 Great setup. I do though have one sugestion. I use the same anchor. Awesome. However your line should be tied to the end with the flukes, run up the shaft toward the top eye. This line should be tied next to this eye with a couple wraps of kite string. This way if your anchor gets cought you simply tug with a quick force to "break the kite string, this allows the anchor to "flip" and dislodge the flukes.

"You'll need a few extra pieces of gear when you're about to go kayak diving. The first one you'll need to get, in addition to the kayak, is some sort of paddle, just whatever will work, double-sided typical kayaking paddle. The second thing is some sort of dive flag, this is to let people know that you're in the water someplace and that there's a diver present. So when you go out in the kayak and you abandon your boat and you leave it out there, people know that you're actually someplace and not just have disappeared off the side of your boat somewhere. Next thing is some sort of bag, a goody bag, a lobster bag, whatever it can be that it can hold all the gear that's needed to. The important thing with this is that it collects everything, all your fins, masks, snorkel, gloves, whatever it is. It's all in one place, so if it happens to spill or drop overboard, it's all collected into one single thing for you to go find. One other optional thing is a pair of wheels, these are good for going on inclines along trails that might be difficult. You can also, you can kind of put these on the front or the end of the kayak and then raise it like a wheelbarrow to move the kayak around easily across long distances. And last, but not least, is the anchor. This is a collapsible anchor that can be used to secure your boat on the reef or scene, whatever, but it kind of collapses out, and this weighs a few pounds, but it can really hold things in pretty well, and keep you secured when you're out there in the water. But besides that, there's not much else you need to get when you're going to do a kayak dive. You might want to have a GPS system, waterproof or water resistant GPS, maybe some sunscreen, snacks, whatever, but it's pretty basic, pretty minimal. "
