"Now I'm going to show you how to use Moving Meditation to help center your mind and focus your energies while you're trying to meditate. The best way to find this position is to go into easy pose which is pulling the extra fleshy parts out from underneath your sits bones. You can also use a block or a blanket to open your hips. So if your hips are up higher when your sitting, find a blanket, fold it over and sit on the edge. If you still need more height, you can then put a block on top or an extra pillow or blanket and let the hips fall open naturally. The best thing you want to do is have nice, relax, open hip position. And as you begin this, you want to have your hands down on your knees and your eyes close. You let your shoulder blades drop down in back, chin drop slightly forward, stack the vertebrae one on top of the other. On an inhale, you're going to carry the arms up. So as you inhale, bring the arms up and on the exhale, you're going to let them fall down. Let the breath lead your movement rather than the arms leading the breath. So try to slow the breath, not so much restrict to control the breath, just slow it down enough so on the inhale you breath in and on an exhale you let the arms fall down. And again do this behind closed eyes. If you need a candle to focus in on, light a candle in front of you, find a point in front of you on the floor to focus in on if you're not comfortable behind closed eyes. But again, just breath in and exhale and let the arms fall down. And that's how you use Moving Meditation to center yourself for yoga practice."
