"There are several techniques to warm up the neck one is in a seated position so find that comfortable seat and let the arms drop on either side and just let the head roll forward and to the side taking care not to over stretch or crunch any part of the neck. As you go back only slightly look up taking care not to really force the neck back because all you're doing is crunching those vertebra. If you have any neck issues take care to mind those don't force or over stretch any area of your neck. Another great neck stretch is using resistance so taking your palm placing it on your forehead pushing the energy of your head into your palm. And pressing forward and then releasing. And then also repeating this to either side pushing the hand into the head. And then to the other side. Then holding each of these for several breaths slightly longer than I did, then take a clasp of the hands, place them behind the head, sitting up in a nice straight position and just let the head drop slightly forward, only using slight pressure on the back of the head again nothing forced. If you have any neck issues at all any past surgeries, these are things to be aware of. Another excellent technique to warm up the neck is a stretch, this can either be done on the floor with the hands hanging on either side or you can get up and go to a chair and use the side of the chair to grip and let your head fall to the side pulling up on the bottom of the chair and let the other hand hang down and let yourself feel a nice stretch throughout your neck then slowly come up grabbing the other side and repeat to the other side and these are just a few great techniques to warm up the neck."
