"JASON SHERIDAN: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Jason Sheridan for Sheridan Fencing Academy here in New York City. Today, we'll be talking about beginning sabre fencing. If you're interested in learning about fencing, this is a great place to start, and I recommend that you find club in your area and fencing coach to learn from. A great resource is the United States Fencing Association and their website is usfencing.org. There you'll find a list of not only the specific rules of fencing, but different clubs you can go to, different coaches you can find, and different camps you can enroll in. All of these will help give you a full understanding and a complete knowledge of fencing that will help you on your journey to one of the most interesting and exciting sports in the world. If you're outside the United States and want to learn more about fencing, you should find your nation's own federation or, of course, local fencing club. You could also check the International Fencing Federation's website, fie.ch. The FIE will give you other resources which you can also make use of. The most important thing, of course, is that you find a venue in which you can learn fencing and that it's fun. It should be the most fun time you have and it should be an excellent learning for you or your children."
