" So now, if you’ve got the basic ride under your belt, you’re ready to start doing some tricks. The first trick you’re going to want to start out with is a basic backside 180. Now, the way the backside 180 works is you stand on the board and your rotate your shoulder so that your back turns 180 degrees. Now, we’re going to get demonstration of that. The basic backside 180. Now, we’re going to go over the basic 180 again and we’re going to see what most people, their first time, when they mess up, how it looks. Okay, this is what you don’t want to happen. Keith’s all wet, his day is ruined; he didn’t land the trick. What did you do wrong Keith? Let me tell you what you did wrong. You didn’t shift your shoulder weight as much as you could have. You were all witchy twitchy on the board, and that’s just not right. We want to keep you standing up. We don’t want you getting wet, because you’re just going to embarrass yourself. Next time, commit to it, put all your weight into it and really shift your shoulders so that you’re turning a full 180 degrees. "
