"Hi, my name is Jarred Cummings, I'm over here with Expert Village and we're talking about basic quad riding and we're talking about 4 wheel drive. Now the importance to 4 wheel drive is it gets a lot more torque and you have a lot more traction when your driving. Rather than just using 2 wheel drive when you're just riding on nice, smooth surfaces. Should we ever get stuck or need more traction in an area where we have bigger rocks or we need all of our tires working at the same time, we can just pop this into 4 wheel drive right here and go ahead and start going. Now when we're driving, we don't want to go fast in 4 wheel drive. You want to keep it at a slower speed. If you're going fast you need to put it back in 2 wheel drive and then go back to your riding. This is our 4 wheel drive button, we can just push in the button. In is 4 wheel drive, out is back to 2 wheel drive. You always want to make sure you come to a complete stop before switching from 2 wheel drive back into 4 wheel drive. Otherwise, that could cause the engine a lot of troubles."

on 8/2/2008 Oh dear Mr Cummings, and what about us poor souls who don't have the facility to switch between 2 & 4 wheel drive? Do I now have to go very slowly on my permanent 4 x 4 drive machine? According to you that would seem to be correct mode of operation - shame you don't really have a clue!
