"Hi, my name is Jared Cummins, and we're here with Expert Village. We're talking about basic Quad riding, and now we're going to go over turning. Now, when we start riding, we have to know how to turn before we actually start to ride, ride pretty fast, otherwise, that could cause a wreck. So, we're going to first start talking about posture. You want to keep a nice seat like this, legs just relaxed over here, one right next to your break; and your arms not locked out super, super straight, but just kind of relaxed and straight. Keep your head up, chest up like this, and that's how you're going to ride. Ok, so now when riding, we want to really concentrate on slowing down before you get in a corner. If you take a corner too fast, or if you try to break inside of a corner, you can actually cause your Quad to slide out, and that can cause a wreck. So, when you're riding, you either want to use your front breaks, rear breaks, or all 4 breaks to slow yourself down before you get in a corner. So, now if we're coming in to a corner, and we're going around a left-hand-corner; we're going to go ahead and lean off the bike just a little bit with our shoulders, like this, to keep the balance over the left side. If we stay up straight like this, or we lean over making a left- hand-turn, that can cause the Quad's weight to shift over here, and we can actually flip the Quad. So, turning in to a left-hand-corner, we're just going to lean off the side, and turn our wheel. Now, going the reverse way, same thing. We're going to lean off the right side, turn our wheels right, and we'll go right. "
