"Hi my name is Jarred Cummings I'm here with Expert Village. We're talking about basic quad ridding. Now we're going to talk about some gear. Here we have our gloves, our helmet, and our goggles. I'm going to start with just saying you have to start out with shoes, you want shoes that cover your ankles. You want to get some long jeans that go all the way down past your shoes like this so you can't see any skin. A long sleeve shirt in case something should happen, a rock flies up and hits you; you want something protecting your chest and your arms. Right now I have the basics with me today. I have gloves, you always want to ride with gloves again if something comes up and hits you in the hand, a bush hits you, you want something that's going to protect your hands so you don't have to let go of the vehicle. We have our helmet right here and eye protection. Eye protection is very important you always want that, again, in case a rock flies up and should hit you in the eye. You don't want to loose your visibility. So this will go right here and protect our eyes. Now, for advanced quad ridding you can go as far as getting boots that cover all the way up to about your shins. You can get quad ridding pants they have protection in the knees and the shins. You can get chest protectors that cover full chest, right here. You can get elbow protectors, thick ridding gloves, and expert helmets."
