"We've let all of our pieces here soak for about a half day and, to tell you the truth, this firearm really needed it. And so, I just like, kind of like earlier, I'm going to start with the smallest thing and I'm going to work forward. Now, right here I have four brushes. I have two nylon brushes, I have one brass brush, and I have one real light steel brush. Now, with the cylinder pin here, this is kind of abrasive here, it can really pose kind of a problem with how easy you can take this pin out of the firearm. So what I'm going to do is I've got my Break Free on here and it's been soaking in pretty good. I'm going to take this light brass brush here and I'm going to give this a good scrub. I'm just going to kind of work this thing over this pin. Just kind of see if I can't make a little bit of a dent and figure out why this pin has been a little bit difficult to get out. Not unmanageable, but just a little bit difficult. Maybe it just needs just a little bit of extra cleaning. Basically what we're doing here as well is we're scrubbing some of the dirt and grime away and we're also helping get that Break Free really into the metal, kind of, I don't know if massage is the right word, but just working that Break Free right in. And you can see how the rod's even getting a little bit lighter since we've been cleaning this and, like I said, this is just a real light brass brush that I like to use on things that I don't necessarily want to show a lot of wear. A little more scrubbing and then what I'm going to do, is I'm just going to kind of let this piece sit the rest of the time while I'm cleaning some of these other things and next, we're just going to move on to the cylinder itself."
