"What we're going to need today to break down the Rutger Mark 2 is, we have a hammer. And what this hammer is going to do is, it is going to separate the barrel and the lower receiver. I have a pair of pliers here, arbitrarily just in case for putting back in the main spring housing. The bore light, we are going to use to actually look inside our barrel and to look inside the action to make sure we have got all the grit grime collection of stuff out. And here is a series of brushes that we are going to use to actually clean the action. The bolt face and some of these inner workings, inside the actual pistol. Now I use Q-tips, simply because Q-tips can get into smaller areas for, you know inside the slide where the receiver and the bolt slide in the action. I use the patches for bigger wipe ups, bigger clean ups of the grit and grime. And here's a small flat blade screwdriver, that actually theres nothing special about this particular screwdriver. So much as, I use it with a patch to push it down inside the action, to help me wipe up in areas that I can't get my fingers. Now this is an oil rag that I mostly just use at the end, once I have reassembled. Disassembled, cleaned and reassembled the actual firearm itself. Now this is just for wiping off fingerprints. Making sure that when I go to put it up, that its going to be put away for a while. I know that I'm not going to have my fingerprints or somebody else's fingerprints on it. And thats all this rag is for. Now next, we have a bore snake in 22 caliber. And this is going to be to swab out and clean the inside of the barrel. Its got to be one of the best innovations that gun technology has today. Hoppies number 9, we're going to use that in conjunction with the bore snake. And that's going to help clean, and get some of those lead and copper deposits out of the inside of the barrel. That's going to take those out. Rim oil, the liquid, we're going to physically put that on the slide at the end after we've cleaned the firearm. Rim oil spray, is a lubricant as well as the liquid. Only difference is we can insert it deeper into the firearm to get a better lubrication for storage. And lastly, the break free. Break free we're going to use, and we're actually going to spray it across the firearm. Once we have it taken down, we're going to spray it on the bolt, the mainstream housing, the barrel, the receiver inside. And we're just going to let that sit and let it do its action before we clean it up. "
