What is a Snake Bore Tool for a Springfield XD 9mm Handgun?

"Here we are with our barrel, we've got it all wiped down, we've got it cleaned up and this is the time that I like to clean the inside of my barrel. I've got the outside of the barrel cleaned, I've got it dirt free, so I'm not going to have to clean it later. All I'm going to need to do is clean out the inside of the barrel. What I've got, here, is a 9mm caliber bore snake. What this is going to let us do is going to clean out the inside of the barrel and it's going to take a lot of steps out of an old way of cleaning. You can see our brass weight, here. This weight's just going to help drop this string through the barrel. This string is going to attach to the swab or the bore snake and about 3 1/2 - 4 inches in you're going to see a set of brash brushes. Now, those brass brushes are a 9mm caliber brushes that are going to help us clean the inside of the barrel. Right after the brushes we have our swab. But right here in between where the string attaches and where the brushes begin, we're going to fold that area in half and this is actually going to be the area where I'm going to attach our Hoppe's Number 9 which is going to help that copper and lead deposits that we have inside our barrel. This is going to help break all that down."
