"Okay so here we are with the barrel. We've got it all scrubbed up we just got to finish doing our guide rod. What I'm going to do is we're just going to repeat the process and we're going to do this with the barrel. Now what I'm going to do is just take a patch and I'm just going to kind of wipe down the outside of this barrel. I know some of you may be thinking at this point when are we going to clean the inside of the barrel and we're going to get the that. I like to clean the outside of the barrel so that when I'm done cleaning the outside I'm not wiping, if I were to have a dirty barrel on the outside I don't want to feel as if when I go to scrub this and I've already cleaned the insides of the barrel that I'm wiping anything inside the barrel. I've tend to find that if I haven't cleaned the outside and I've cleaned the inside and then I go back and I clean the outside I just tend to get a little bit of runny oil inside the barrel and then I just kind of defeated the purpose of having to go back and clean it again. We're going to get this all cleaned up. Right here in between these lugs I'm going to use our screwdriver and I'm just going to rub that in to the corners here. Make sure that we really get in there and I'm not scraping real hard I'm just putting a little bit of pressure to make sure that we get these corners all cleaned up. Alright get tough a little bit on the loading ramp and then I'm going to do the same thing right here in the back where I can't get my finger. It's just physically to small for me to fit my finger in here so I'm just going to take my patch, I'm going to fold it in half, and set it inside here. I'm just going to work this screwdriver around so I can get into these places I can't get with my regular finger. Take a look at the patch, we've pulled a little dirt out of there, it's looking real clean. Alright I'm going to get another patch and I'm just going to finish that wipe down. You can see actually how dry the barrel is. We haven't done a full wipe down. That just means the barrel used a lot of that break free that we put on, but we're going to take off any excess that we may have. Oh yeah and you can see our patch is coming out almost just as white as it was when we first started. Okay so now that I'm done with the barrel we're going to move on and we're going to do the same thing now to our slide. I'm just going to set a few of this off to the side."
