"Alright we've got all of our stuff scrubbed up so what we're going to now is we're actually just going to wipe down our guide rod here. I've got my patches here and I've got my cue tips here and I even have my screwdriver here just in case I get into an area that I feel like I really need to get into. That I feel like my fingers aren't going to allow me to do so. So I'm going to grab a couple patches here and I'm just going to take the guide rod in my hand and I'm just going to wrap that patch around and I'm just going to spin it in my hands. I'm going to move it back and forth and periodically I'm just going to kind of check and see what I have on y patch. That's looking pretty good. I'm pulling off a little bit of dirt, but I'm pulling off more break free than I am dirt with this so our scrubbing did a pretty good job. Alright I'm going to do the first half of this. I'm just going to kind of spin it here make sure I'm getting all of these coils to this half of the guide rod and recoil spring. Alright I'm just going to flip it over with my hand and do the same thing to the other side right here. I'm just going to spin it in right here. Now mostly trying to get a lot of this break free off too. I just don't need that much lubrication because the spring set inside here is really what's going to be doing the work. I don't need to have a lot of the break free in here lubrication these pieces they're going to be doing their own action. Don't need so much help from the break free and like before, like we've touched on the metal is going to take in the break free that it needs, so what we're wiping off is in actuality an excess of what the guide rod needs. Alright now that I've got that wiped down I'm just going to kind of look around and I'm going to kind of do a once over by hand. I'm going to see if I haven't caught any of my patch on the coils and I'm also feeling for any extra greasy spots here. I'm not feeling any so that's real clean, that's real nice. So the next thing I'm going to do is I'm actually going to do the same thing and we're going to move onto the barrel right now."
