"Hi, This Jared on behalf of Expert Village. In this portion I want to talk to you about spin. First, top spin. Top spin is used for many different things, but in a match it is used for that stroke, we mentioned, the hit, the drive or the loop. In this the ball will be there and you will come over the ball with the racquet up like this. You'll hit it and make the ball spin in this kind of motion. The opponent will hit with their racquet and it will go up in the air. In the serve it would look something like this. With that kind of serve you're wanting the opponent to hit it higher so you can set up something like a smash or loop. Now lets see how that spin reacts off the opponents paddle."
