"Hi, I'm Jan Kain, and today, I'm going to talk to you a little bit about Tai Chi, a wonderful exercise system from the Far East. Tai Chi originated in China many, many years ago, and it's a wonderful system for working your entire body. You'll be working your heart, your blood vessels, your muscles, your strength, your balance, building bone density. Tai Chi has also been shown to reduce blood pressure, and of course, reduce stress and enhance relaxation. Tai Chi exercises feel really, really good; are relatively simple to learn; and with just a little bit of practice, pretty soon, you'll be flowing right through the whole series. Because this is an introductory series, I've already broken it down for you in fairly easy-to-learn sequences and individual exercises. You can practice those and become familiar with those, and then you can link them all together into a flow series, and then you will have the first section. What I'm going to do right now is show you part of the first section in an actual flow series, so you'll be able to work and link together several exercises into one. So let's go ahead and get started."
