Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Jan Kain. And continuing on with our Tai Chi lesson today, we're going to continue with grasping the sparrow's tail sequence. So from here we ended with the ward off position. So from ward off, we're going to roll back, press and push. So to roll back you are just going to flip your hands over, shift the weight back until the left, small little circle with the left hand, wrists are going to come together. Turn your body back, square it off and then just shift forward. Putting most of your weight again on to the right. Remember you want resistance between your wrists and also an imaginary opponent. Then you are going to release the hands right about eye level, sit back weight again into the left, hands come down to the chest and just push. Again like you are pushing away someone that you really don't like very much. Again shifting the weight to the right. Alright so now, we're going to start that whole thing all over and I'm going to show you how it's going to flow. So starting with the ward off position, sit back, roll back. Hands come together, press and push. And there you have it, nice and smooth and we can continue on to our next sequence."
