"JASON JEANETTE: Hi. I'm Jason Jeanette. This is Daniel Klapheke from Elite Martial Arts of Middle Tennessee for Expert Village. This is escape from side headlock. All right, you'll going to go slowly in a fight, addressing an issue here or at the ATM whatever it is, and I've got an attacker side headlock. He's pulling me down. I'm letting that natural motion flow. My arms are already swinging that way. I'm going to let it go ahead and flow through the groin straight. He's got two hands committed to this lock so that gives me free rein reaching over. When I'm practicing with my partner, we're going to hook the nose. My index finger under the nose, pull straight back and down in the fight. I'm not going to be so nice. Grabbing hair and pulling back or eye gouges and pulling back. A lot of people make the mistake. They're pushing their attacker away. We want to stay in control until we get our good follow-up strikes in. So, back and straight down pull my elbow to my hip, strike, strike, elbow, maybe hung through with a cutting an arm bar, putting him to the ground to be ready for the next thing."
