"Where we will start is here and cut down through it. You want to be careful because there is gut in here. You don't want to pierce that gut and make it a much more difficult process. You want to cut through the basic of the skin and break through the layer of fat and then the thin layer of meat. Then you will cut down to the base of the tail which we will use to open the deer the rest of the way up. The end result here will be to drag the rest of the internals down this pathway to drain it. Here you have the pelvis bone. You want to break this pelvis bone you can. Use the hatchet and a hammer to break through it. You can also just hit it. You want to be careful with the bladder, sometimes the bladder can be fuller or you can pull it back to help break through that pelvis. One trick is then you can use it to help split it. Step on it and grab the tail and pull up to greater separate the pathway. Then once you have that we are going to split it up to this breastbone."
