Deer Hunting Clothing

"Well, I've just finished talking about the accessories to use while hunting. Now we're about to talk about the clothing, what you need to go out while hunting. There are two different things that differentiate what kind of clothing you would wear. One of them is where you're hunting, are you going to be bow hunting out in the open, in a tree stand, stalking on the ground, or a deer stand with four walls around you. The other distinguishing factor is the weather, you want to be dressed correctly. There's nothing worse, at least in my personal opinion, to ruin a hunting experience, than being cold and shivering in a deer stand while hunting. If you're in a deer stand, really all that's important is from the waist up obviously. Wear something camouflage or something that breaks up the pattern. If you're on the ground moving, if you're bow hunting in an open bow blind, you need your whole body covered in camouflage. So, if it's warm, something like just a regular pair of camouflage jeans and a short sleeve tee shirt, a camouflage cap would work great, but if it's colder, you need to be prepared for the elements of the outdoors. This can mean various factors. Thermal covered camouflage clothing adds a lot of warmth. You can buy thermal covered jeans, a regular pair of jeans but they're thermal layered I should say. You might want to consider layering. Here you can start with thermal long johns and sweat pants over those and sweat shirts et cetera. Then for really bitter cold weather, what I recommend is a full body suit. This is actually made for Minnesota hunting or Canada hunting but it works great on a cold Texas winter morning but that has lining in it for warmth. It has a hood, et cetera. You can also get extreme gloves because you want to protect your fingers, be able to move around. If you do see a deer, grabbing the rifle et cetera. Hoodies or various other caps that have thermal lining for your ears et cetera. There are many different options for warmth, but like I said in my personal opinion, there's nothing worse than being cold in your stand. You want to be properly clothed when you're entering the elements outdoors."
