Video Transcript

" The snake style of the black dragon kung fu system involves strikes using the ridge of the hand, the what’s called the snake fist, which actually has the fingers extended in a spear hand posture and other single knuckle and single finger striking positions. The form we’re showing right now is going to be venomous serpent strikes forward, which is a triple step joined by a triple striking method. Venomous serpent coils back, crosses leg in front of the rear leg, brings one hand up as a block, sweeps it down as the other hand guards the vitals and forms a chi-ball position, which represents a coiled serpent. From this position, we’ll go to our next technique, which is called coiled serpent strikes out. This one unwinds bringing a knife hand around, you’re stepping into a forward position, bringing a spear thrust, and followed by a side kick. These are 3 patterns from snake style of our system. "
