Summary: Learn fingertip strikes of Snake style Kung Fu techniques, for self defense training - free video.
"I’m going to demonstrate some of the snake styling of black dragon kung fu system. First, we’re going to demonstrate the triple form. Firm stance is used with both feet facing primarily forward. You’ll be able to move in and out quickly and step up or step side motion. This gives good agility and still gives stable stance while having approximate shoulder width distance. The hand posture open, you can either be palm up or palm down, or combination thereof. Snake uses a lot of fingertip strikes as well as knife hand, ridge hand, and half knuckle techniques. When you use here serpent strikes forward it’s a triple step as I’m striking forward with each step. When the serpent coils back I’m going to coil into serpent’s stance by crossing in front of the leg to the rear. One hand swings up then swings down as a block, as the opposite hand guards the vitals, I go to qiball opposition, which is a coiled serpent ready to strike. This is coiled serpent strikes out, I spin around with the knife hand, step forward with a superior hand, and finish up with the side thrust kick. "
