"This exercise I'm going to show you is a center squat. We're going to squat down to the center with our feet pointing out, our toes pointing out, or a plie position. So we call this a plie squat. And you're going to come down and your heels are going to be under your shoulders for balance. And you might want to ask yourself how do I know if my heels are under my shoulders? If they're not, you're not going to be able to stand up straight. So, just focus on having your heels planted right under your shoulders as your toes are pointed out. You want to hold this way here or you can even hold it here if you like, but what you want to do is go down into a 3/4 squat. Again, the muscles in your inner thighs are a little weaker than the rest of the muscles in the upper leg so you don't want to use a lot of heavy weight. You don't want to go down that far. Come on down. Push up to the heels and come on up and up. Notice my head, my neck, still neutral with my spine. Back is straight, my abs are tight. Again, push up to the heels, breathe normally. A couple more. There you go. This is a center squat with your toes in a plie or pointed out position."
