"This next exercise that I'm going to show you is again, we're seated on the physio ball and we're going to do some leg raises. This exercise is going to hit your quadriceps. It's going to be a very, very effective exercise if you have bad knees and you can't do any kind of squatting exercises, this exercise will target your quadriceps without putting any kind of pressure on your knees. You can do this from a flat stationary bench. I like to use the physio ball. Again, so more of my core and abdominal muscles are going to be involved. So, I'm going to have to keep those nice and fired up. You want to extend that leg out, slowly raise and lower. As you can see, that ball is moving under me, but I've got my core nice and solid. It's helping me maintain my balance on the ball. Breathe normally. Balance it out on the other side. Again, nice and slow. Keep that core nice and fired up. Pause at the top if you like and back down. If you have to, check your balance. Tap that heel and come back up. One modification of this exercise if you like is after you come up just bring that leg in and that back out and back down. It's more advanced. For all you beginners you might want to do this exercise with this modification on a flat bench. Once again, this is the leg raise on a physio ball."
