"The next exercise I'm going to show you is a seated calf raise but what I'm going to do is perform this exercise on the stability ball which is also going to force me to engage my abdominals and certain aspect of my core so I'm going to have a seat on the ball. I got a set of dumbbells here which I'm going to place right above my knees. Now the standing calf raise work the long head of my calf or my gags track nemius and this lower, the seated calf raise is going to work a shorter head of the calf from a different angle and that's my solius. So the only way you could target that in certain aspects is from a seated position so from the physio ball again my back is nice and tight, abs are tight, back straight and just going to basically, just press up, try not to lean back when you performing this movement an it's slow and controlled, nice squeeze there and back down. Again, try not to let your heels touch the floor, if you want to make this movement again a little bit more challenging on your mid section, move your feet closer together, I could still have my weight sitting there if I'd like, and just press straight up, it's really going to force me especially when I go up on my toes, it's really going to force me to engage my core to stay balanced on this ball. So I'm working a few different muscles at the same time. Couple more and keep your head neutral with your spine, shoulders back, abs nice and tight. It's also a great exercise if there's a long line at the gym and the seated calf raise machine is being used, just jump on a physio ball, add a couple dumbbells, and off you go. And there you go"
