"Next I am going to show you a walking lunge. It's just as it sounds. We're just going to do basic lunges as we're moving forward. Once again, your starting position your arms you are just going to find something to do with them. I like to keep mine at my sides as I am doing this exercise. I am going to start with my feet about shoulder width apart. Again, my abs are nice and tight, my back is straight, and my neck is neutral with my spine. I am just going to take a step forward and I am going to go straight down. This back leg, that knee is going to go straight to the floor. You are going to push up through the heels, then come on up, another step, and again that knee is going straight down. It's going to prevent this knee from going past my toes and you want to come on up. Now you can also do a little modification if you like. Pick up a set of dumb bells, pick up a set of weights, keep them behind you here. That's going to help you keep your weight back. Again, shoulders back, abs nice and tight at netural, and you're down, push up, turn, one more time. It's going to go down, again that back leg goes straight down, the knee doesn't go past the toes, shoulders are back, abs nice and tight. And there you go, that's your proper execution of a walking lunge. "
