Okay, what we'll do, this is kind of a recap of the serve. So we've already talked about the toss, and we've talked about reaching up and hitting out on it, but I want to go over the grip real quick. The grip is the continental grip. It's the same grip as your slice backhand, as your volley, and as the right-hand on the two-handed backhand. So the reason that this grip is important, is that when you hit the ball, you want to be able to hit up and generate topspin on your serve. If you do what a lot of newer players do, and players that have played for a long time and never been corrected, they have more of a shake hands grip, and they hit the ball like this. But we want you hitting the ball like that. So hitting up on it and spinning it. So the only way you can produce that is with this proper grip. So it's going to feel very uncomfortable when you're a new player, because you're going to want to go like this and hit it but that's no good. So you want to go with this grip which allows you to spin the ball. So fight through it and you'll be amazed at how quickly your serve will improve. But the grip is very important and definitely if you have questions about it, ask a local pro because if you don't fix this, it'll become a big problem for a long time.
