Tennis originated in Europe in the late 1800's and spread quickly throughout the English speaking world, particularly among the wealthy. It is now an Olympic sport and is played by people of many countries and social classes. So what we want to try to do, is to show you how to practice, all the pitfalls that you might encounter and how to overcome them. But a lot of tennis, the best players in the world, they practice a lot on their own. So it's not just with a coach, it's not just with their friends, or their practice partner. They hit against the wall, they watch a video, they work out. There's a lot of training off the court that you can do. So I want to give you a little bit of a taste of everything that you might need to improve your game. Also, how when you get discouraged and reach those sticking points, you can overcome them.
