"O.k, since the legs are really the most important part of the squash, it's best to before you play and after you play, if you can, do some stretching. So, what I like to do is before I play a match, I'll usually just do some light jumping of rope or some just sprinting around the court slowly, just to get warmed up, in addition to obviously hitting the ball, or maybe take a steam or a hot shower. So, then we are kind of warm before we play. Now, if it's real hot outside, you're probably already warmed up. So, what I want you to think about is, you want to start stretching, so you can start with your legs apart, and just do a real basic stretch. And, you want to just come down as low as you can, like this, touch your palms if you can, and your goal is to eventually try to touch your head. I'm not that close to that yet, but just hold it like that and you'll feel a good stretch in the back of your legs, and your hamstrings, and in your back. And, then just come on up. So that's one great stretch that you can do, the other one is legs together, and just go down and just try to touch your head to your knees. Obviously, I'm not close yet, but you know, if you can do this, and just hold it for a little bit, so hold it for let's say, a count of ten. And, if you do that, you'll notice that you'll be a little more warmed up and every time you do this, you'll get closer and closer. So, there's a lot of other things you can do, just like a quad stretch is always good. So, you just lift up your foot, and hold it like that. And, do it with the other one. So, this also works on your balance and it's a real basic, good stretch, and so you do this, you'll be ready to play."
