"O.K we're going to work on a four hand drop shot here. So I'm just going to be blocking the ball up on the wall. Gary is going to be coming from somewhat of the center of the court. He's going to come in, lunge and hit his drop shot. So he's going to come underneath the ball, he's going get low that's why he's going to lunge going to put under spin on the ball with a little bit of side spin. So when the ball hits his goal is to get it to track so it goes close to the wall or even hits in the nick for an outright winner. And then he has to get back out into the center of the court because if his shot isn't that good he has to be ready to defend against a shot I might hit as a counter. So let's see how we do. That's good. So you see how Gary gets down low? He's getting underneath the ball producing that side spin with the under spin so the ball will track to the side wall. There's nothing worse than a drop shot that comes out a couple of feet from the wall cause that means the other player is not going to have a great look at attacking a poorly placed drop shot. So we've got a good rhythm going here and so what you do is you just switch so both players get to work on both aspects of a drop shot. So this is a really good basic drill. If you can't do it in practice you can't do in the game so work on this drill cause this is a very important shot."
