"Okay, in this drill we're going to do the diagonal game but we're going to do it on the backhand side. So, the drill is, I feed the ball as a boast, Gary will be able to hit a cross court forehand and then, off of that, I can either hit another boast or a straight drive, then he can hit the ball straight. So, whoever is in the front court has to hit the ball back to the backhand corner and, if you're in the backhand corner, you can hit a boast or a straight drive. So, the purpose of this drill is to learn to maintain the tee, so if you hang too far back in anticipation of a drive, the other player can hit a boast and possibly win the points. So, let's see how we do here. So, Gary hits a drive and I hit another drive and he boasts, forcing me to run. Now that's the longest run in squash is the diagonal run. Now I get my chance to hit a good length. Good shot, Gary. So, I hit another length. So, I pull him up front and I hit a boast to pull him back up and now I've got my shot to bury him, bury him in the corner. So, that's a diagonal drill focusing on the front court player and you'll see it's a lot of movement, but it's a very valuable drill."
