Now that we know where to stand, how to find a ball that fits, what clothes to wear, where to aim, let’s go see if we can put it all together, take this little walk and knock down a pin or two. The one thing you want to do is start out with your feet on the middle dot, roll the ball over the second arrow. Wipe the ball with the towel, get set and roll the ball over the second arrow. Pretty easy game, get nine or get eight, now that we have the four seven sitting there now you got the next question, how do I go and I make that? When we’re standing on the approach our first ball we stand on the middle dot, we roll the ball over the second arrow, ball comes to the pocket. Now we want to ask the ball to go across the lane to the left, so what we’re going to do for every pin to the left you would move three boards to the right, for every pin to the right you would move three boards to the left still playing the second arrow. So for this shot we’re going to move six boards to our right, we’re going to play the ball over the second arrow and see what happens. Pretty simple and that’s the object to keep it simple. Now, you know what to wear, you know what to bring, you know how to fit a ball, you know how to put your names in the score sheet the computer so it can score, you know where to stand, you know how to target. You take those skills and build on them, you can become a better bowler. The other thing when you’re in your local bowling center ask the people who work there to help you, most of them are in the business and familiar with how the game is played, the object is for you to have fun, knock down pins.
