"Okay, we're going to work on the uphill putt in this segment. The uphill putt is generally preferred by professionals and recreational players alike because you can putt uphill which means the ground; the uphill slope is going to take speed out of your putt verses is you're on a downhill slope. If you're putting downhill, if you tap it a little bit too hard, depending on the speed of the greens, it can just keep picking up speed and keep rolling a long distance. So, you've seen even great pros hit a three foot putt and it rolls twenty feet pass the hole. So, the uphill putt is more like having a basketball backboard behind the hole because you can kind of hit it a little bit harder and even if you hit it a little bit too hard, the slope; the uphill slope will slow the ball down. So, you'll usually see players go I want to get the ball below the hole which means they'll have an uphill putt; that way their risk is minimized. So, this way I can kind of comfortably just swing away at an uphill putt and not worry about hitting it too long or if I do hit it too long, it's just going to be very very short pass the hole. So, that one I struck pretty hard and it's still barely gets pass the hole. So, the uphill putt is really a good putt. So, when your chipping, if you're going to leave yourself with an uphill putt; for most players, that's the easiest putt for them to hit and I think you'll find that's true for you. So, practice the uphill putt, but it's kind of way, you can really just; it's almost a slam dunk opportunity."
