"Hello I am Geoff Sterling of Hollywood Soo Bahk Do. What I am going to be showing you right now is a spinning side kick. This is different than a spinning back kick because when you do a spinning back kick it is actually more of a defense move. It is more like someone is doing a technique you are going to retreat that way and then offensively rotate and kick. That actually has more power; it is like a donkey or horse kick. There is a lot of power there and you don't want to be kicked by that. And the move I am going to show you right now is the spinning side kick and it is really really great. To work on that quickness you can just work on some drills, be light on your feet and just used to reacting off somebody, you know if somebody moves, turn your head. So I am going to show you that with Muhumad Husan of Soo Bahk Do. So let's say we are sparring and as soon as he does something I spin and that was right away. Thank you very much. So just to demonstrate it on the back here. You are kicking and again you hit it with the heel and it is easy to get carried away and miss your target so you want to make sure that you turn your head really fast so you can see your target before you get your kick off. It is pretty effective especially when you are light on your feet this way. That was the spinning side kick. Thank you. "
