"Hi I am Geoff Sterling with Hollywood Soo Bahk Do and I am here to show you he different stances. So because Soo Bank Do is a military style of martial art so it is very military like so you stand at attention this way and you have to salute the flag so this is how you salute the flag and pay attention to the protocol. We are going to bow to make sure your hands are by he sides and bending the hips, it will stretch your hamstrings as you bow. The first stance that we do after we do all that is the choon bi or ready position so when we choon bi it means it is telling us we are ready. Usually when we go from this position to the choon bi you cross your arms this way like an X and you step out always with the right leg. We make sure we are standardized and pay attention to protocol. We bend our legs a little bit, step out, breath out, and come back this way. Show you again you bend your legs, cross, and then when you come back you will return and come back this way and bow. Right there is just the basics of our protocol and how we bow and the choon bi or ready stance."
