"Hi I am Geoff Sterling of Hollywood Soo Bahk Do and I am going to show you a jumping front leg side kick. This is pretty difficult especially for a beginner so I am going to show you some exercises first before I demonstrate. So get into position like this, first off I will show you from this angle. You are just going to jump off first and kick your heels to your butt so you can work on that. You an do it like 20 or 30 reps and you are going to feel a big burn in your legs. This is the way to train yourself to be better. You will be this way and remain light on your toes and jump up like that, jump up. Breathing is very important and you are going to get tired very quick if you hold your breath so it is important to breath. Then you can also work on jumping forward when you do it because that is kind of the idea of this kick I am going to demonstrate. When you move forward you will have more power. You are this way here, you are going to jump up, kick with your heels and slide forward like this. Now go back to the side angle this way. So now all we are going to do is with the front leg closed, open to the air, kick with the heel and come back and the trailing foot that is behind you is going to curl in for more air. It would be better to keep yourself high in the air because the higher you are the more you are going to be able to avoid obstacles and it might get in your way so it is important that you bring your heel up. I will show you a demonstration of the kick and it is going to look like this. Now with the other leg for another angle. It is good to stay committed to it and really expand while you are in the air. That was the jumping front leg side kick. Thank you. "
