"Hello I am Geoff Sterling of Hollywood Soo Bahk Do. I have been showing a lot of back leg roundhouse kicks so the roundhouse kicks involve your back legs. Again more powerful but not quite as fast so now we will show a front leg roundhouse kick and the leg that is in the front is going to come out and rotate this way and kick. It is going to be very fast and very quick. It may not be very powerful but it is a kick that you could use say if you are doing karate as more of a sport and you are in a sparring situation because it scores a lot of ties when you are point sparring and it is very quick. Especially it is good if you train a lot and you do this kick several times a day, you are going to be able to pump it out. So in slow motion this way you are going to go out and spin and back on track and then down. So it is going to be like that and rotate out. What is good about this kick too is you can leave it and throw two kicks at the same time. So as soon as the first kick misses you can hit them with the second kick and you probably even could use this in a self defense situation. It is kind of like the same situation as a boxer jabbing with the left you would be using the jab with your quick front leg roundhouse kick. It is going to look like this. A double would be like this. Then that brings me to your advanced technique. When you start throwing these kicks really fast your heel is going to literally slide across the floor and it takes practice. It takes a little bit of practice getting used to it, getting used to the power involved with the hip, getting the flexibility and this time I am going to do a triple front leg roundhouse kick advancing forward. It's going to be like this. Notice that I kind of worked my way from low to high or you can go high to low and that could be a way to trick somebody. Say I throw a high roundhouse kick they could block here and leave themselves open in the body or if it were low somebody could go like that and leave themselves open. It is a great way to do a fast kick and a great way to trick somebody and that was a front leg roundhouse kick. Thank you. "
