"GEOFF STERLING: Hi, my name is Geoff Sterling. I'm with Hollywood Soo Bahk Do and I'll be showing you how to hu gul jaseh or back stance, how to perform a low knife block. Most of these works to somebody who were to say like come at you for low attack, maybe something kind of upward, uppercut or something, what it is. Again, hips go back this way, [SOUNDS LIKE] pull up, that way and that's the hip motion or the hu ri steps. So I can [SOUNDS LIKE] forward this way. So now we're going to do the [SOUNDS LIKE] foris but with the gun method or the gun kind of analogy like I did before like that. Now this time, the hand is back, you go on top and kind of tighten this way, again you're protecting yourself, you're closed and then over. So you're like this here. So to do that at angles, see a different profile of it. So you're actually--you're going to go from open, you're body's kind of open, close. So there's always that contrast. Remember what technique you do in soo bahk do there's really just two parts of it, close and open. So that was a low block. From Hollywood Soo Bahk Do, thank you for watching."
