"So we are going to start on a very basic kick which is the front kick. A lot of times you will see the front kick and so just take a comfortable stance this way. A lot of times you see a front kick formed this way, straight up, it is like kicking a target in front of your head. Today we are going to demonstrate sort of a rustic front kick. One of the concepts about Soo Bahk Do is the closed and open concept because when you do that when you close your body in tight this way and then open and really expand you generate a whole lot of power and then make sure you retract and then give it back. Because when you close and open you close and spin and also make sure you keep track because that way if you did use this kick to protect yourself no one would be able to grab your leg you would be able to kick and then come back again. I am going to show that from the side angle now. I am actually going to be hitting this bag. I will be hitting at full power but you will just get an idea of some of the power that can be generated from doing this front kick. So I am in this way again a comfortable stance, just closed and then open. I was not hitting it that hard, I wasn't going full speed but you will just see some of the power that is generated. One thing that I forgot to mention to you is that breathing is very important and as you might notice in any style of martial arts the breathing is called kiap. The kiap is like your internal power or your spirit. It is something that is very important because it is going to help you relax. When you are relaxed you generate a lot more power because when you are tense you tend to go slower and it might not work as well. Also if somebody goes after you the kiap might stall them so it is kiap and back and kiap and back. That was a demonstration of the front kick and if you want any more information please visit hollywoodsoobahkdo.com. Thank you very much. "
