"OK, moving along. Same side wrist grab. I don't want to just stand here, I want to open the door, taking them off line. If you'll notice, here's my center, everything is front of both of our centers. I move this away from her center, but maintain it in front of my center. This is what I call controlling the line. I've effectively taken the angle of attack off the line. Hiji Otoshi means elbow drop, so I'm going to step in and push her elbow back behind her. If I just try to push the elbow down here, she's stable. If I push it back behind her, you'll notice that her posture is weak, and she starts to fall. The first way we'll do this, is with Irimi. One, two. One, two. Stepping with a little more power. Again. Again, it's important to control this person right from the very beginning. Don't stand here, then do this. I will cut as soon as they grab. And I cut with my hips. It looks like I'm doing this, but that's not what I'm doing, I'm not doing this. I'm doing this, with my hips. That second attack is coming, you can count on it. I don't want to be here when it comes. That's where I want to be. A simple projection from here. You can do it without even the other hand."
