"Hello, I’m Francisco Escudero with Sky Banditz Kiteboarding here in Miami, Florida, you want to learn more about kiteboarding go to www.skybanditz.com. I’m going to continue on with the technique on how to launch and land my inflatable kite safely. Right here and right here is a position, the wind is coming from my back here, the kite has a little bit of power. This is where I would launch and land my inflatable kite safely. If I were to launch it straight down in here it’s very dangerous, you will get throwing down wind. The other position to launch my inflatable kite would be at this other side. This same position is called the side of the window, it’s a neutral position on the side, it’s equivalent to the original neutral position that we talked about. The wind window is that three dimensional dome that comes from here to here to here and comes in front of you. Remember behind you there’s no wind and the kite will stall, okay. So now what I’m going to talk about is the different areas of power. On the top of the wind there’s very little power, this represents the lines and this represents the kite, there’s very little power at the top of the window. There’s medium power here and there’s full power at the bottom of the window."
