Check Your Sail & Controls Before Kite Landboarding

"Hello! I’m Francisco Escudero, here in Miami, Florida. If you want to learn more about kite land boarding, go to www.skybanditz.com. Now we’re going to check their sail. It’s not a windy day, but if you want it to launch your kite and you have the wind from your back, you’re going to lay it down then you’re going to put a couple of little patches of sand here. Right now we don’t have sand, we’re in a grass field; you want to put a little bit of weight on it. So once the wind is coming from our back, it’s going to get filled up right to the leading edge of this kite right here. If you notice right at the top, we have the little holes, the air holes, right here. It’s going to inflate the whole kite and it’s going to make it go up. Our controls are very simple. I’m just holding by the points. The bars over there, but if I pull right, the kite’s going to go right. If I pull left, it’s going to pull left. Those are your basic controls of the kite. "
